A large number of foreigners have ‘ recently succeeded in ’effecting A 8115" entry into Franceyia the occupied area.’ in ‘Germany, without any passports or. . identity papers. Numbers of them are former inhabitants of Russian Po—land and of southern Russia,’ whose: applications for Polish citizenship have been refused by the Polish Government. Since their entry into France many of these foreigners have been. found -to be undesirables, and the Prefecture of Police and the Detective Depai-t~ ment_ are arresting, and deporting considerable numbers of tliem. Severalhundr_ed_s are to be deported ixom the fourth arrondissement of Paris alone.
