THE KING'S—TO-NIGHT. * “THE MAN THEY COULD NOT HANG.” Special public attention is drawn to hire screening of the world famous cinema oratorio which takes place at the King’s Theatre to-night and tomorrow in place of next Saturday and Mondry. Frederick Haldane, the celebrated English actor orator will tell the story while the picture is being screened.

production of Arnold Bennett’s famous book and play, '‘The Grand Babylon Hotel,” will be the chief attraction of the new programme showing at the Town Hall to-night. A story brimful of intrigue, romance and adventure, some groat scenes of the London Embankment. the famous Thames and her bridges, and settings of the whole notion of the play are excellent to a degree, this fine 6000 ft Hepworth production is one t-hat should on no ac-. count be missed. A full supporting programme of topical, travel and comedy items accompanies the “feature.” A permanent attraction at the Town Hall those colfi nights are the stoves which a.' ,i e wholly successful in making the whole auditorium warm and cosy.
