Com pet if ion for hides was very dull, ami all lots were slow of sale. As compared with last sale's rates prices for good sound hides were a shade easier, whilst all cut and slippy ami inferior grades were irregular and sold at much lower rales. There was absolutely no enquiry for taliow, and all lines were withdrawn.
