OPENING OF PARLIAMENT.

WELLINGTON, Thi s day. The weather, which has been wet and cold for the past twenty-four [hours, has every appearance of improving for the opening of the first session of the twentieth Parliament at 2.30. The King's Commission will be lead in the new Legislative Council Chamber by Hon. W. C. Carncross (Speaker "of the Legislative Council), Sir R D. Bell, Sir W. Fraser, Sir W. Buchanan, and W. Hardy,M.L.C's. After reading out the Commission members of the proceed to elect a Speaker.
