A STRONG PROTEST. * CHRISTCHURCH, June 21. At a meeting of the Council, of Churches to-night, the following resolution was carried: 'That the Council call the attention of the Prime Minister, to the policy of the N.Z. Tablet in persistently teaching Roman Catholics of New Zealand to hate the Empire and Britain. The Council believe that such propaganda postpones settlement of Irelandf s troubles and that it is a menace to the public peace."
