LOS ANGELES. May 24. Profiteering in New Zealand meat was charged against Armour and Co., and its Xew Zealand manager in Boston on May 5. It was alleged that the firm bought lamb in New Zealand for 10 cents a lb, plus freight charges of about 4 cents, a lb,, and sold it at 25 cents per lb.
