Between noon and one o’clock on Thursday about £l2O in notes, cash, and cheques was stolen from the oflice of Messrs Johnson and Cooper, auctiolleers_. Rotorua. A clerk nrmed Moore left the offiee for about three minutes to visit a Kent close by, where the firm sold vegetables. He left the safe open, and on returning discovered that the cash box containing about £BO in notes and cash and £4O in cheques was missing. No ltrace of the thief has been discovered.
