Brunswick fell at the first hurdle, the rider (Tricklebank) sustaining an in-‘ jury to the collarbone, leaving Fagot "to secure the stege. The clerk of the course mounted Brunswick and set out to secure second money_ He subsequently transferred the mount to Rigny, who finished the distance. Second Hack Flatt Handica.p.—~ Tieki 1, Whanoko 2, Glengyle 3. Scr: Prince Randall and Queen’s Cup. Won all the way by three lengths. Turanganui Steeplechase.——-Gay Boy 1, Jean 2, Fagot 3. Scr: Rottaa and Wairiri. Won by three lengths, six lengths between second and third. Time 4.21.
