l Price of Newspapers‘ 1 —- 5 NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS. ‘ Our readers will have learned that‘ owing to the recent enormous increase { ‘in the cost of producing newspapers; rthe “Newspaper Proprietors’ AssociaLttonr” has increased the price of news l ‘papers to twopence per copy to all ; Subscribers. ‘ r } It has now become urgently neces-‘ lsary that the “Taihape Daily Times” should fall into line with all other newspapers, but, subscriptions paid in advance—-—in or before the first week of the quarter, or, in the case lot monthly subscribers, :on or before the first day of the month-~—the old rate of 9/9 per quarter will be accept~ ed; payments not so made must be at the rate of Twopence per copy, These terms will be strictly observed, and they will come into force at the termination of the present regular quarter on the 31st‘ of this month. "All who wish -to have the advantage of the advance rate should note the new conditions. -. No payments must be made to boys delivering the paper, -such payments will not be recognised.

O O _ i Advertising Rates. The need for increasing ADVERTISING RATES is no less urgent to enable the immensely increased cost of producing the newspaper being met.
