We also report having held our Huntervillc sale on Thursday, May 27, when a small yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle came forward. Bidding on all lines of sheep was brisk, and all lots were disposed of under the hammer. Cattle were dull, but the majority of the yarding were disposed of as follows: Four and 6tooth wethers, good, 35/6, empty ewes 26/1, wether lambs, medium, 26/4, springing heifers £9 to £lO, empty cows £5 to £6 5/, 2-year steers, small £5 5/ to £6 10/, mixed weaners £2 15/ to £3 12/6. We also report having held a clearing sale at Mataroa on account Mr Donald McDonald, when in spite of 'the very rough weather a large at- 1 tendance was present and a good sale 1 resulted.
