CHRISTCHURCH, May 27. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, William' Shaw, trading as the .North Shaw Rubber Company, was charged with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act in that (.1) leaving been adjudged a bankrupt ho had within three, yoara; Wfot'e the commencement of such bankruptcy made ..payments out of the regular course of his business, not being for ordinary expenses of himself or*'" his "'faiuily; (2) That he had by unjustifiable extravagance brought about such bankruptcy. Shaw pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence. He was committed for trial.- Bail was allowed in one security of £IOO. ■
