‘ COLLIN GS——HAIN'SWOR'I'.‘H. A pretty Wedding took place in the‘ Presbyterian Church, Taihape, on Thursday last, the cont.raet.ing parties being Mr. John Hainsworth and ‘Miss. Marion J. Collings, both of Taihape. The Rev. J. C. Loan oflieiatecl. 'l‘he bride was dressed in white crepe-de—-chine, trimmed with Aparls and pink ribbon, with :1 beautifully embroidered veil and the ortlmdox orange blossomsf She carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Gilbert, of Tauma.rumli, who was attired in :1 smart white gabardine costume and wore a large whiie velour hat. and carried a"bouquet of lavender ehrysanfhemums and maiden hair fern. Mrs. Collings, mother of the bride was costumed in fawn gabardine. trimmed with silk braid, and wore a black silk velvet. half. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Leslie Collings, brother of the bride. ~ After the wedding‘ ceremony the breakfast was held in Mr Dennes’ tea rooms. where there was a large attendance of’ friends and relatives. of the I~.ewly—married couple. The usual felicitous toasts were given, and speeches made by Rev_ J. C. Loan. and the bridegroom and besfi man. Mr F. White (of Messrs W. J. White and Sons) bore tesliniony to the great esteem in ‘which the bride, who had been in the firm’s employ. was held, and wished them every prosperity. The presents received were both numerous and costly, testifying lo the poprrlsz-ify of the happy pair. Ma‘ and Mrs Hainsworith left for south by the 3.40 pm. train, amid «showers of confeffi and good wishes.
