BRITISH FOREIGN POLICY.
STATEMENT BY SIR A. GEDDES. Received 8.55. NEW YORK, May 26. Sir Auckland Geddes, at the Belgian Society's dinner, said: The British foreign policy was inspired by a desire to seek peace, to extend the boundaries of freedom, to improve the lot of the oppressed, and increase the material prosperity of the world. These are the principles by which I, as British representative, am guided.
