The question for the Court was whether he should be awarded a lump sum in respect of future incapacity in place of a‘\T'eel<l_§_: ‘allowance such as he had receive’(l ‘since his accident. _The Court decided that the probable period of incapacity from the accident was two years, and ‘awarded a lump sum of £2OO to cover that period, reserving the right to plaintiff’.s dependents to claim compensation should he die within that period on the ground that his death was due to the effects of the accident.
