COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING BROKEN UP.

DUBLIN, May 13.

Sinn Feiners broke up a meeting‘ 013 the County Clare Council, kidnapping three Councillors and carried them off: in motor cars.

The Londonderry Magistm‘c.y are taking drastic measures. to quell riots in the city. Public houses are being closed at 4 o’clock. A large force of troops has arrived and putting a cordon round the affected areas

LONDON, May 18.

Two thousand troops from England landed at Bantry and have been distributed throughout WC-st Cork, where they are stationed five miles apart. Some troops are cnmmandeering public buildings in the towns and using the Town Hall as headquartel's.
