PRICE OF NEWSPAPERS.

NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS.

Our readers will have learned that owing to the recent enormous increase in the cost of gpmducing newspapersthe “Newspaper Proprietors’ Associatiom” has increa,sed the price of newspapers to twopence per copy to all Subscribers?’

It has now become urgently‘ necessary ‘that ‘the “Taihaipe Daily Times” should fall into Tin.-‘e with all other newspapers, but, subscriptions paid in adva‘nce—’in ‘or before the first week of the quarter, or, in the case ;o£ monthly subscrilbers, won or before the ‘firs’-t day of the mo*nth———the old rate of ‘9/9 per quarter will be accepted; payments not so made must be at the rate of 'Twopence per copy. ’These terms will be strictly observed, and they will come into force at the termination :of the present re'gular quarter on the 31st of this 3 month.
