CON-STANCE TALTIADGE I‘. “.A\ LADY’S NAME.”
A Pmcession of young men, old men, strong men, weak men, nice men,. t0l1gh5": Tl=ls‘Y 111911, chases after Con-i stance "l":1‘1m:1(lgc in “A 14335795 Name.” She advertises for a husband. to get some copy for her new novel; and the various applicants are responsible for situations ‘that could only have been conceived by the author of “A Pair of Silk Stockings.” As the advertisement in question set. out many attractions that lent its roseate hues, which attractions, by the way, Constance herself! possesses in plenty, the replies were multitudinous and multifarious, and exceeded her expectations by quite a good deal. As she had a fiance of her own, his annoyance can be imagined. A rattling good comedy has been provided in “A ‘ Lady ’s Name,” and one that only the iinimitable and youthful Constance can do full justice to. 1 The latest efiisode of “The Fighting Trail?’ has arrived and will be shown, together with the most marvellous Post scenic ever screened.SHACKLETON PICTURES

_ OUR PICTURES—TOWN HALE. A FINE SPORTING DRAMA. E TOWN HALL AGAIN TO-NIGHT!‘ Rarely indeed has such an oppor-A tunity presented itself to screen a film that will appeal to all classes of the community as the screening of’ “Kent, The Fighting Man,” featuring" (Bombadier) Billy ,Wells, the ex-» heavyweight champion of Great Britain‘. Despite the inclement weather there was a great crowd at the Town. Hall last night, and the management have prevailed upon Mr Alf. Linley toscreen the entire programme again tonight for the benefit of those who were prevented from going last night. It is a film to grow enthusiastic over.. We all know that in a production such» as this, the boxing of the Bombadier —to give him his familiar title-—-would be good, as he is easily the most graceful and accomplished heavyweight boxer the country has. ever produced. But it comes as :1 re velation to find that he is equally good in the role of a film actor. On the same programme is a really good Chaplin feature and an Arbuckle comedy. The show is well worth the money.
