CHETSTCHURH, May 5.

.At the Addington market the yar(l~ ing of fat stock was smaller than usual, and for prime beef and mutton. there was a -good "market. Superior stuff was in poor request. Store sheep: An average yarcling, the sale being more animated’ ‘than last Week. Forward Wethers were in good denmiid, and generally the market was firmer for all classes.’ Fat lambs 19/ to 21/4, ordinary lambs 14/9 to'l9/, cull lambs 4/9 to 12/, good 2,_alld 4-tooth ewes 32/2, 2,4, 6, and 8-tooth ewes 25/ to 28/, inferior‘ 4, 6, -and 8-tooth ewes 18/9 to 24/3, .4, and 5-year ewes 20/6 to 25/3, good 4, 6, and S-toothwethers 29/6 to 33/, ordinary 4,6, and 8-tooth wethers 29/_B, ordinary 2—tooth wethers 29/8, ordinary 2-tooth Wethers 22/6 to 26/. The following were the prices .in‘ order of s‘éLle:—142 lambs 16/, 127 two and four-tooth wethers 32/6, 98 4-year empty ewes 20/9, 95 Wethers 30/, 25 mixed and aged ewes 24/6, 168 4, and 6-tooth wethers 22/6, 48 fat and forward empty ewes 25/10, 44 wethers 20/, 26 aged ewes 7/6, 126 ewes 22/, lambs 1.1/6, do. 17/10, aged wethers 15/, as wethers 28/3. There was a large yarding of cattle.
