(At the last election (which was upset) the voting was: R. Masters 3027, J. B. Hine 2964. Compared with the prevfous election, it‘ will be seen that Masters this time polled 140 votes more, and Hine only 33 additional. For various reasons it is anticipated that the Liberal candidate’s majority will be increased when the final numbers go up.)
