NAVAL HERO'S DEATH.
MID-ATLANTIC FIGHT.
The death Occurred on Saturfiay, M.:n-ch 6th. at Stanmore (says the Times), of Real_-«Adiniral Noel Grantj. Captain Grant received 3. CB. for his disfinguished services. and was appointed shoi-ti'y after to the command of the Cochrane, but unfortunately owing to illness, largely. brought about by his experience in fhe Carniania, he was sent to hospital with pneumonia, 21 return‘ of which after a severe operation for appendicitis. caused his dent-h.
