SOCIAL AND DANCE AT BENNETT’S SIDING.
A very enjoyable social and dance was held at Bennett.-’si Siding last night. - Owing to various h counter" at» tractions the attendance was not as large as usual at‘ those functions. Nevertheless this did not detract from this pleasure of those present. The floor was in splendid order, and the music, supplied by Mrs Hall, with extras by Messrs J.-Dawson and F. Larsen, was all that could be desired. The supper was also a credit to the ladies. Songs were sung by Mr ‘J.’ Dawson, and a quartette was rendered by Mess-rs N. and R. Bro!ome, Bremner and Swanson. A‘ recitation was given “by Mr ‘F. Mcsweeney. Dancing was kept up till about 3.30 a.m., under the admirable supervision of Mr E_ J. Anderson as M.C. ‘ _
