At piidniglrt. Constable Holt saw a man enter the premises of P. H. Ferguson, Albert Street", Pursued upstairs, he found the m':{'lT‘oehind a package. The man threatened to down his pursuer. The constable switched ofi the electric torch and closed with the man as a heavy steel chisel grazed his check. The man was arrested and removed to the police station in'possession of articles for which he Will be required to account. The‘a'rrested man in the encounter sustained a fractured collarbone and injury to the jaw.
