FATAL BENZINE EXPLOSION.
PALMERSTON N, this day.
The death occurred at Palmerston North Hospital yesterday of Bertie Barton Kelys, aged 43, single. The deceased was cook at the Awakuri hotel, and in lighting the fire on Wednesday morning used beizzine. An explosion occurred and Kelys was severely burned. .
