“THE LUCK OF THE NAVY."
‘ A typical London success, the great naval drama, “The Luck of the Navy,” fresh from a phenomenal run of nearly two years in the great metropolis,_ will be presented at the Town -Hall next Wednesday evening [by the Allan Wilkie Dramatic Company. The company which was producing this play in London has been transferred to New York, where the piece is now drawing large attendances at _;the Manhattan Opera House The plot concerns the startling-adventures of a commander of a British submarine, who is beset -by Hun’ spies in England. The I{a_iser’s secret agents include the mother of a young English naval oilicer,_ and a German who passes himself off as a wounded Belgian colonel. The play abounds in stirring situations, the dialogues are smart, and there is plenty of humour asukilfully interspersed. The drama will be staged on an elaborate scale, and the scenery has been specially prepared from photos of the original London production. The box plan is now Open at Pratt's. ’
