NEED OF DOMINION MUSEUM.
BULLER’-S COLLECTION OF BIRDS LOST.‘ ”"
WELLINGTON, this day.
As instancing the necessity for a N.Z. Dominion Museum, :1 question agitated without effect for years, it is stated, Sir W. Bu1le1"s collection of New Zealand birds is now lost to New land. Sir W. Bu11eI"~s son promised the collection to the Museum as soon as a fire-proof building was erected, and a taxidermist available. He died last‘. year, and has not willed the collection to the Museum, and presumably it will find a permanent home elsewhere.
