: LONDON WOOL SALES. ‘ ~ LONDON, April 18. At the wool sales 11,161 bale-e were! catalogued, including 5045 New Zea: land. There was only a moderate atq tendance, and the general tone and bidding were more reserved than mg‘ the March saleé. Best merinos were‘ unchanged, but sh'ortel‘ and faulty; sorts suitable'for the Continent. deg clined 7% to 10 per cent. The drop is undoubtedly due to the fall in the value of the franc.
