| LATEST ARRIVALS IN N.Z. ; AUCKLAND, April 21. ‘ An-other party of Chinese and Hindus arrived ill‘Auck]and by the River. ina from Sydney. The Chinese num. bered fifteen, including eight women. There were two Hindus, and they both passed the reading test. This makes 272 Chinese who have landed in Auckland since the beginning of we year. The number of Hindu‘s‘ that have arrived’ since January Ist totals 96. .

The Hindu, Dr Manilal, who was detained on the 'Atua, was -gmnted permission to land with his wife and child today.
