PRIVILEGE RAILWAY TICKETS.

I PERIOD EXTENDED. ,_,___.... i It will be remenibered that for reuisons over which the Defence Department had no control, the issue of ‘privilege rail tickets to returned soldiers was gieatly curtailed some months ago, and as :1 consequence. it was decided to extend the period of availability to the first of June 110-“; the Railway Department stip‘.l..:lting‘ that the issue should not exceed 5000 [per month. The Defence Department announces that by special arrangement with the Railway Department privi—lege rail tickets are now to be extended to the 30th of November next, Which is the final date.
