The New Zealand Farmers’ CO-op. Distributing Company, Ltd., report having held their usual Taihape sale -_on Wednesday last, when a fair yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. The whole yarding of sheep, with the exception of one small pen: were dis posed of. Cattle were hard to place. We quote: Mixed aged ewes (empty) 18/1 to 25/8, good lambs 20/ to 20/3, medium sorts 15/ to 16/9, culls to 8/, 2-tooth Wethers 27/ to 27/6, 4-tooth Wethers to 31710, mixed Weaners 35/, springing heifers £8 1/. We also report having held a vrey successful clearing sale at Upper Tutaenui, on account. of Mr F. E. B. Loveloek, on Friday, the 16th inst. A very large attendance of farmers were present, and every lot met vgith keem competition. We quote: Mixed sex lambs 20/, fat and -forward ewes 27/6 to 28/, 2-tooth wethers 31/, f.f.m. empty ewes 19/ to 23/1, aged ewes 11/, small lambs 14.-/, draught horses £l6, £3O, to £4O, Jersey heifers £l4 12/6 to £ls, Jersey bulls £6 to £6 10/, Waggon £7O, stack hay, £9l, potato digger £35; cultivator £l6 10/, roller £ll, disc harrows £l6, d.f. plough £5, wool press £l6. A large quantity of sundries all brought satisfactory prices.
