’l‘he Daily Chronicle’s correspondent journeyedto. Klingenthal and interviewed Hoelz, who was found sitting in a cafe near the big hotel, which he commandeered as hezrdquarters after leaViug~Falkenstein. Hoelz diseluims any idea. of establishing communism. He enrolled five thousand troops with the simple object of o‘ver~ thro\\'ing 'the Reiehswebr, but admits the hopelessness‘ of the cause. He ._im‘j-s not intend to fight, but will either cross the Czeeho-Slova_kian»bo‘r-der ‘and surrender, or quietly dissolve and hide amongst the Working classes, as other bandit kings have done in the past. .Hoelz explains that incendiarism was merely a repl'i'§El against the LReiehswehl'. This zealot has a fine appearance and good education. Al- - he knows he must soon surrender, still he permits his troops to batten upon the country.
