RANGITIKEI A. & P. ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Winter Show Committee of the Rangitikei A. and P, Association was held last night for the gpurplose of drawing up the schedule for the Show. ‘

The following classes will be included in the schedule:—Best Five Acres‘ M Swedes: First

prize £5: ‘ i ; _Best Collection of Field Roots, Veg-' etables and Fruit from a‘fiy A. and P. District. Prices to :be decided upon. FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN. Best Exhibit of Vvriting from children under the age of each year from 9 to 15, and between 15 and 18. Best Exhibit of Mapping by children in Standards 3 and 4,‘ and Stand~ llrds 5 and 6. "H Best Exhibit of Drawing from Standards 1 and 2, and 3 and 4, anti 5 and 6, in each. Object Drawing,‘ Drawing from Plant Life. Best Exhibit of Brushwork. Best Collection of Leaves of Native Trees and Plants to be given their native names. _ “

Best Collection of Dried Grasses and Cloversg to be named and mounted. " ‘ .

Best Oollection of Weeds to be named and mounted.

Best Exhibit of Plain- Sewing for girls under each 10 and 16; Five classes for Cooking.

It was ‘decided that entries for the Five Acre Plot of Swedes close on the sth May, and the plgts be judged about the 13th of May.
