A FRUITLESS SEARCH.

TAURANGA, This Day.

‘ The launch which left here on‘ Thursday last in charge of Captain Berridge to search for the missggé scow Kahu, returned on Satur , afternoon. ‘After a thorough search of the Alderman and Mercurylslands and down the coast to The Skippers no trace of the scow or any wreckage was found. It is surmised the Kahu foundered.
