WELLINGTON, This Day.

The secretary of the General Post Office has received the following telegram from the postmaslter at Cheviot: An extensive fire occurred here at 2 o’clock this morning, and the block of {buildings comprising an empty dwelling house, offices of Dalgety and Co., a shop occupied by Weatherbon, and the Town Hall were completely destroyed.
