TAIHAPE SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very good yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, the 7th inst., which sold as below:—Cull ewes 5/6, 5/8, 7/9, to ‘l2/, cull lambs 6/6, 6/8, to 9/3. smalll lambs 11/6, 12/3, to 12/6, 2-tooth ewes2S/3, mixed age ewes 22/, 2-tooth wethers 25/6, 2-tooth wethers 32/7,* mixed age wethers 32/7 to 33/4, 3 to 31-year steers £l2 10/. WESTFIELD STOCK SALE. Fat stock at. the Westfield markets on Wednesday realised prices equal to last week’s rates. Choice ox beef sold at £2 15/ per 1001 b, other grades fetching from £1 15/ to £2 13/, accords ing to quality. Prime wethers realised! from £1 13/6 to £2 0/3, ewes £1 13/ to £1 15/9, and lambs £1 1/ to £1 3/There was a good demand for pigs,, baconers fetching from £6 to £9.
