OUTRAGES IN IRELAND.
AN AMAZING RECORD. Received 10.15 am. LONDON, April .8. ‘An oflicial_'return of Sinn Fein outrages. in Ireland from January 1, 1919, to March 29 last, shows they totalled 1089, whereof 588 were in Munster, 269 in Leinstér, 137 in Connaught, and 95 in Ulster. Outrages include thirtysix murders, whereo_i' five were civi]i~ ans. There were eighty-one cases of firing at persons, namely, fifty-five at police, twelve at the niilitary, and fourteen at civilians. Thefe were thirtytwo assaults and 426 raids for arms, whereof 389 were on civilians. There were 47 incendiary fires and fifty-four firing into dwellings. namely twenty-four into police” and thirty into civilians.
