Having been previously convicted of being a rogue and a, Vagabond, he was sentenced to two months’ imp‘risonment with hard labour. Hector Walker was charged with being a rogue and a Vagabond, and be‘'''.zfl‘s’ , premises without lawful excuse. He was convicted and sentenced to one. month’s imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended if he‘ left the district that day. { "TUESDAY," APRIL 6th. Andrew McKendrey was charged before Messrs J. P. Aldridge and J. " Smith, Justices, that he did, on April ‘- Ist, at Taihape, steal two pairs, of . trousers, valued at £3, the property of Mr Gr. E. Little, Taihape. He was further charged that on the same day he did steal :1 fur rug, one Woollen blanket, and a pair of underpants, valued at £5, the property of some person or persons unknown. Accused pleaded guilty to each charge, F and elected to be dealt with summarily, and was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment with hard. labour, on peach charge; the sentences to be con- ‘ current.
