At the Show cattle sales demand was ]ill)itl9q owing to the drolight, and prices gexlerafiy were below recent averages, with occasional high figures. /The top price (720gns) was paid for 21 Shorthorn bull. New Zealand’s eon~ r.ignment of ‘Shorthorn bull-s, sold‘ on ‘behalf of the McNab Estate and D. Wright, ranged from 25gns to 100gns. Beef cattle, sold on behalf of Danzell Bros., New Zealand, ranged from logns to 155gns.
