Rcmamkable scenes on the great

Savauoga racecourse in America are a striking feature of the Goldwyn feature, “The Racing Strain,” starring‘ Mae Marsh, which opens at The King’s to-night. The Saratoga racecourse is, of course, America’s most story is laid in Kentucky, which has long been famous for racing thoroughbreds in the equine line. The theme" is a girl ’s fight to retrieve her fa_ther’s lost fortune, health, and honour, and it furnishes plenty of exeitenfent -and sporting entertainment. Written by America’s prominent sporting writer, Tex Tharwaite, it is entirely suited to the Winsome little star, and in “The Racing Strain” she celebrates one of her greatest successes. An excellent c.omedy from the L.K.O. studios is to be found in “Backward Sons and ‘Forward Daughters.” The ever-in’c'eresting serial, “The Fighting Trail” grows even more exciting in this episode.
