BENNETT’S SIDING PICNIC AND SPORTS.
On Easter Monday a picnic and 'sports will be held at Bennett’s Siding, when pedestrian events will be ‘arranged for Ine'fi, women, and child- . ron. A fine progranime for horses glms also been compiled, consisting of eight. different events. In addition to» ‘lthe above, high jumping, chain~st.epping‘, and the various items which go to make the day pass pleasantlv, will be provided.. Hot Water and milk~wilE‘ be pl'ovi(le<l free, and no charge will be _made for admission to the ground. 'ln' the evening a dance will be"held, |admission for gontllemexi being 2/6, , ladies free.
On Monday moming brakes will leave the Taihape Post Ofi'ice in time
for the sports.
