‘ We held. our usual fortnightly sale today, when we again brought forward a good catalogue of hides, ‘rnllow, etc. There was :1 full bench of buyers, and while pmctically every lot was sold at satisfactory prices under the hammer the market; now appears to have steadied. For super heavy hides and good sound calfskins the price -has improved somewhat. whilst lightweight hides were on a par to a shade easier fhan last sale. Tallow sold at recent 1-ales. _
