At the Addington market the yardmg of fat sheep and lambs was slightly larger than usual, whilst the store sheep were again in over supply. Fat ‘cattle were also forward in more than usual numbers and there was a- glut of store cattle. The tone of the market throllghouf was good. The store sheep yarding was about 35,000, including West Coast and lines from other provinces. For these the demand Was weak, but all the Canter-bury-bred lines met with a better ‘market than the preceding week. Particularly good Wethers and iiorward lambs to 24/5, ordinary 15/7 to 20/, cull 8/9 to 14/11 good halfbred ewe lambs to 30/1, ordinary ewe lambs 20/ to 26/6. good 2-tooth ewes 32/6 to 41/, ordinary 2-tooth ewes 25/6 to 31/. cull 2-tooth ewes 14/6 to 22/9, good 4, 6 and B~tooth‘ ewes 30/ to 36/6, icw-collditione(l 19/6 to 24/6, failing mouth ewes 16/6 to 21/6, soundmouthed ewes 26/6 to 30/_, good 6 and 8-tooth wethers 30/ to 34/, oi-dinary 6 and 8-tooth wethers 27/6 to 29/6. good

Fat cattle—-445 were offered and the market. was firm throughout, exporters operating freely.
