INTERN EX—KAISER IN SAMOA.

A CURIOUS PROPOSAL.

WE LLINGTON, this day.

Among what may be regarded as one of the curiosities of the Samoan trip is a proposal to intern the exKaiser iu, Samoa. The author of this scheme is one, H. .T. Moore, an American citizen, for many years resident in Apia, but believed to beof German extraction. His idea is that it would relieve everyone of trouble if the exKaisei-, or Count Hohenzollern, as he called him, had a portion of his fortune restored. with which he should buy out the iifterest of the New Zealand Government and all others who desired to sell, and then he could set up in business in the islands, in Upolu, for choice, where he would be far enough away and powerless for mischief.
