AMUSEMENTS.
OUR PICTURES-—TOWN HALL.
Dorothy Gish will appear again at “Ours” to—night in the splendid D. W. Griffith production “Battling Jane.” Everyone who saw this picture last evening was delighted with the quaint little stzu-is interpretation of the role of “Jane,” so natural and yet so unusual is her acting. The Mack Sennett comedy, “Beware of Boarders,” also on the programme to-night is Chester Conklin’s best farce for a. long while and is most clever and laughable. A»
BILLIE BURKE “IN PURSUIT OF POLLY.” At the matinee and evening perf'o:‘manCeS tomorrow the management of “Ours”? will present the adorable Billie Burke in “In Pursuit of Polly” which has been described as “a smashing ch-umfire of thrills'”én'd an onrush of delicate and charming romance." , _ *
THE KING'S. _. «.--" ""'
“.TL'S’l‘ FOR TO-“NIGHT.” In “Just for To-night’-‘ Tom Moore niakes the most of his opportunities in :1 romantic drama with plenty of comedy touches -besprinkled throughout. The story was written specially for the star by Chas. Logue, and contains a. lot. of smart, novel incidents, and is considerably brightened by the smart, pithy sub-titles used. As may be expected, it is excatly suitable to the debonair manner of the good-natured Irishman, and not :1 little of its attractiveness is due to the charm of the leading lady, Lucy Fox. No one seeing the picture will blame the hero for falling in love with her at first sight.
