In -the Supreme Court Dennis and Simeon O’Dwye’r, on a charge of conspiracy to defraud the Victorian lu~ surance Company in respect of two motor cars: destroyed by fire, were each sentenced to four months, and Simeon o’Dwyel' was sentenced to four months on 'a charge of false declaration in connection with the same mattei-. The evidence disclosed that accused bought :1 car for forty pounds and effected an insurance for four hundred. ‘Another car was bought for seventy-five ‘pounds and insured for three hundred.
