A represientiative meeting of P.'.)-:'.t and Telegraph employees held ‘a meet» ing last night, at which the following resolutiohs were passed:— “That this meeting demands the payment of the War bonus as pl'olnised by Sir J, G. VVal"d in addition to the increases in salaries; it is; essential in View of the unpl'e‘(Te‘dt.ene(l increases in the prices of the necssities of life.’s’ -
“Paymenrt of a special bonus is im-pel-ative to every officer in the vice, and that the Government be asked at once to review the s4a‘§ztrie.s and wages allotted to the majority of the staff.” “That the Prime Minister and P-:3~5‘.~ master—Genel':a.l be interviewed and the case placed before them in culmthat. the pressing necessities of offcers may the fully understood by bhe Government.
