IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRY.
TO BE STARTED IN NEW ZEALAND. CHRVISTCHURCH, March 17. It is announced that a working arrangement has been arrived at betwéen a British company and the P3,:-apara Iron Ore Company, and that as soon as formalities have been completed, electric furnaces will be shipped out from England, with :1 View to establishing a self-contained iron and steel industry in New Zealand.
