HIDES AND SKIN REPORT. I.).:\LGETY & CO. LTD. I We have to report having held our. usual -fortnightly sale of hides, tallow, ' etc., to-day, when we offered a good} catalogue of all classes of produce‘, T-he usual buyerswere in attendance, also several representatives of Australian firms. All lots were‘ keenly competed for, heavy ox hides advancing 2d to 3d per lb, medium weight 0x and cows 1d to 28d, and kipg also, showed a slight advance. For calf-5 skins as high as 50;‘;-d was obtained, being an advance of Zid on the highest price paid last sale. Prices for tallow were about on 3. par witli last sale’s rates.
