TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER RE SANITARY CHARGE. is hereby given. "That in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behali' by "The Municipal Corporations Act. 1905,'" and all other powers enabling- it, the Council of the Borough of Taihape, at a Special Meeting of the Council, held at 7.45 p.m. on FRIDAY, the 20th day of February. 1920, passed the following resolution, that is to say,— "Whereas the Taihape Borough Coun cil itself undertakes the cleaning of closets and privies not connected with any Public drain and the removal of nightsoil therefrom. And whereas as it i s expedient to levy a uniform annual fee for such services or work in lieu of a separate Rate. Now. therefor, this Council by special order resolves that there shall be levied upon and paid by the occupier or occupiers' of every house attended to within the Borough of Taihape the following annual fee.— 1. Where the cleansing of closets or privies not connected with any pub lie drain and the removal of nightsoil therefrom is performed, every week an annual fee of forty shillings for each nightsoil pan attended to. 2. And that each annual fee shall be an annual-reeurring fee and shall be payable at the office of the Taihape Borough Council situate in Main Street, Taihape, quarterly m advance on the first days of January, April, July, and October in every year, the first of such payments to become due and payable on the first day of April. 1920 Provided t>.a+, without prejudice to the right of action immediately after any such quarterly day one shilling and three pence per pan for removal of sii'.h nightsoil may be allowed as discount to every occupier who shall pay within one month after any such quarterly day. And that this resolution intended to take effect as a special order shall come into force on the first day of April. 1920. Notice is also given that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at meeting of the Taihape Borough Council, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, Main Street, Taihape. on the 19th day of March, 1920, at 8 p.m. J.
