N(3Tl(illE is hereb'_V given. “That in pursuance of the powers vested in it that behalf -by “The I\/lunicipal Corporation;,- Act. 1908,” and all other powers cnabliiig it, the Council of the Borough of Tailiape. at a Special Meeting of the Council. hclil at 7.-15 pm. on FRlDA‘i'. the 20th day of February, 1522!), passed the following resolution]. that is to say,—— “"-Vliereas the Taihape Borough Council itself uiiclertakcs the cleaning of closets and privies not tzonnected with any Public drain and the removal of nightsoil therefrom. And whereas as it is expedient to levy a uniform annual fee for such services or Work in lieu of a separate Rate. Now, therefor, this Council by special order resolves that there shall be levied ‘upon and paid by the occupier or occupiers: of every house attended to within the Borough cf 'l‘aihape the following annual fee.--n 1. Where the cleansing of closets or privies not connected With any public drain and the removal of nightsoil. tlierefrom is performed, every week an annual fee of forty shillings for each nightsoil pan attended to. ‘L’. And that each annual fee shall be» an annual-recurring fee and shall be Payable at the oflicc of the Taihape Borough Council situate in Main Street, T-aihape, quarterly in advance on the first days of'Janualry, April, July, and October in every year. the first of such -payments to become due and liayable on the first day of April, 1920 Provided that. without prejudice to the right of action immediately after any such
