CHAMPIONSHIP RIFLE MEETING.

TRENTHAM, This Day.

After threatening aspect last evena ing the weather ‘this morning was beautifully fine for the opening of the rifle championship meeting. The four hundred competitors were briefly addressed by Colonei Collins. Chief Executive Oflicer, whose congratulations of the Bisley champion, Sergt. Leslie Loveday, evoked hearty cheers. A 3 start was then made with the service series, the first match being the classification practice. It is hoped, if the Weather holds fine. fhat the meeting may finish on Vlednesday.
